This report summarizes the discussions, emerging themes and next steps from the meeting Malaria in Pregnancy: A Solvable Problem—Bringing the Maternal Health and Malaria Communities Together. At the request of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) and with BMGF’s support, the MHTF convened the meeting in Istanbul, Turkey from 26-28 June 2012 in collaboration with a steering committee comprised of the BMGF, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM), London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), and PATH.
