Overview: This module is created for frontline health workers who are able to provide the World Health Organization’s basic emergency obstetric and newborn signal functions. You will practice managing two cases in this module, both uterine atony and a retained placenta. You will follow the cases of  Mrs. M and Mrs. B and assess, diagnose, manage and evaluate your care of both situations. Short videos from Medical Aid Films are included in the lesson.
