The MHTF is pleased to announce the launch of our latest MHTF-PLOS Maternal Health Collection on the theme Maternal Health is Women’s Health. The collection includes 12 initial research articles published in PLOS Medicine and PLOS ONE, and it will be updated throughout the year.
Following our first year’s collection on quality of maternal health care, the second year’s collection helps further our collective goal of improving women’s and children’s health through greater access to comprehensive maternal health information and knowledge. We chose the theme “maternal health is women’s health” because it is crucial to consider maternal health in the context of women’s health throughout their lifespans.
While the call for papers notes that articles submitted by April 1 stand the best chance for inclusion in the second year’s collection, articles can still be considered this year if submitted soon.
