The aim of this newsletter is to keep the group informed of ongoing work in the area of birth kits and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate in the work programs that interest them. This newsletter announces the publication of the first policy brief Clean birth kits – potential to deliver? It also summarizes the work of the Birth Kit Working Group, which includes: program survey, decision guide, community-based data analysis, country case studies, formation of a community of practice, policy brief on implementation, research prioritization, and conference sessions.
