On July 10 and 11, 2014, the Fistula Care Plus team and the MHTF hosted a consultation on fistula measurement and estimation. The meeting brought together experts from the around the world to try to reach consensus on key priorities moving forward in the measurement of fistula, as well as its prevalence and incidence globally. After discussing a number of measurement approaches and estimation models and the current state of the art, the group made recommendations to guide future work.
