Since 2010, the Maternal Health Task Force (MHTF) has partnered with the Woodrow Wilson Center’s Maternal Health Initiative and the United Nations Population Fund to bring together the world’s leading maternal and newborn health policymakers, researchers and practitioners to discuss the most pressing issues in the global maternal and newborn health field. Through this series, the MHTF has helped to facilitate robust dialogue on dozens of topics—from expanding coverage to addressing over-intervention in maternal health care.
