Safe Mothers, Safe Babies is a nonprofit organization working in Eastern Uganda to improve maternal and child health by addressing the three delays for the mother-baby dyad in the first 1,000 days of life (conception to age 2), including: (1) factors that impact the decision to seek care, (2) factors that impact physically accessing care and (3) factors that impact the provision of high quality care during maternal and child emergencies.
