The Sinamoksh Women’s Health Special Higher Clinic was established in 2005 as a Knowledge Center with capacity to screen, diagnose and treat women who have risks to develop cervical cancer. Today a number of medical doctors and specialists are working at the clinic where they specialize in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention amongst Ethiopian women. The primary objective is to screen for cervical cancer and treat the pre-invasive lesions. Additional care is provided in general medicine, particularly in screening women for breast cancer, helping women in pre-and menopause, infertile couples, dermatological and pediatric medical care. They also provide complete laboratory service and support local clinics with education, research and scientific know-how in cervical cancer prevention.
