Maternal Mortality Ratio Down 40% in Bangladesh

In nine years, between 2001 and 2010, the maternal mortality ratio (MMR) in Bangladesh declined by 40% according to a survey supported by USAID, MEASURE Evaluation and ICDDR,B.
