Maternal Health, HIV, and AIDS: Examining Research Through a Programmatic Lens
This Q&A panel focused on the session, “Relevant Experiences Implementing B+” discussed various topics with Giphart, Shapiro, Godfrey and Albertini. Topics raised included: integration of services and moving from ante to post natal care, anemia, CD4 monitoring, donor funds and sustainability, integration and sustainability, consequences of B+ programming on non-pregnant women and other populations, unintended consequences and stresses on other HIV focused programs and populations, and the implications and needs for future research.
